Swedish police say several people in the city of Uppsala in eastern Sweden have been found with injuries that indicated gunfire after loud bangs were heard in the city.
The police said in a statement that they had received calls from members of the public who said they had heard noise that sounded like gunfire in the centre of the city.
„Several people have been found with injuries that indicate gunfire,“ the police said.
A large area was cordoned off and several investigative measures were underway at the scene, they added.
