- Game 1 — The Brewers jumped out to a big lead with four runs in the first inning and added another in the fifth. The Dodgers could only score one run off the Milwaukee bullpen. Brewers 5 – Dodgers 1.
- Game 2 — The Brewers once again scored multiple runs in the first, but this time, the Dodgers got their revenge. Los Angeles put up four in the fourth, three in the eighth, and four in the ninth to win 11-3.
- Game 3 — Milwaukee scored first for the third straight game, but the Dodgers ended up tying the game in the fourth before breaking it open in the fifth inning. The final score was 5-1 Dodgers.
- Game 4 — This marked the start of games in Los Angeles, and the Brewers scored first again, but the Dodgers put up four of their own to take a lead. In the top of the ninth, the Brewers added three runs and won the game 5-4.
- Game 5 — The Dodgers once again beat Robert Gasser, taking down the Brewers 3-1.
- Game 6 — The Brewers built a 2-0 lead after two innings and allowed one run to the Dodgers in the bottom of the third. In the top of the fourth, the Brewers scored another two runs. All of them came via home run. They won 4-1.
- Game 7 — Milwaukee once again beat the Dodgers. They struck first, then the Dodgers scored to tie it. Milwaukee scored another five runs in the game, and the Dodgers could only muster two runs in the game.
We’ve already seen the Brewers take the first two games of the playoffs as well. One constant has been the Brewers striking first. However, the Dodgers get back, and then it is left to bullpen games.
