Bitget has launched Sub-Accounts for CFD trading, allowing professional traders, proprietary trading teams, and high-net-worth users to run multiple trading strategies across independent MT5 accounts under a single main account.
The feature separates positions and execution between accounts while providing centralized oversight of CFD trading activity.
The launch is designed for traders who run multiple strategies simultaneously, particularly those using Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated trading models.
As trading operations become more complex, running strategies with different time horizons and risk profiles within the same MT5 account can make it difficult to separate positions, margin usage, and performance.
Bitget CFD Sub-Accounts allow users to assign different strategies to independent MT5 accounts, keeping their positions and execution logic separate.
Users can create up to five CFD sub-accounts by default, with each receiving an independent MT5 ID.
Sub-accounts inherit the KYC and risk-control status of the main account, removing the need to repeat verification when setting up each account.
This allows traders to build an account structure for different strategies more quickly while maintaining separation between them.
The main account serves as the central control point for all linked CFD sub-accounts.
From a single dashboard, users can monitor real-time equity, margin ratios, and order histories across their accounts.
Password management is also centralized, with the main account retaining authority to reset both trading and read-only passwords for its sub-accounts.
Margin calls and liquidation alerts are sent to the email and app notifications associated with the relevant sub-account, helping teams respond directly to account-specific risk events.
“Professional traders often run several strategies at the same time, and managing all of them can get complicated very quickly,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.
“Sub-Accounts enable users to keep those strategies separate while managing them from one place. As we expand Bitget’s CFD offering, we want to make it easier for professional traders to manage more complex setups without adding more operational friction.”
The launch further expands Bitget’s CFD infrastructure as part of its Universal Exchange strategy.
By combining independent MT5 trading environments with centralized account management, Sub-Accounts give users greater control over how different strategies and positions are organized.
The feature builds on Bitget’s broader expansion into traditional financial markets, giving users more tools to manage different forms of trading activity within the Bitget ecosystem.
