Police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle in The Vines, with Air Wing patrols seen over the area on Saturday morning likely linked to the incident.
Ellenbrook Police say the motorcycle was stolen about 8.50am on Saturday from outside a property on Sauvignon Avenue.
The blue and white 2016 Sherco 300cc, bearing WA registration 1KP185, had been loaded onto the back of a ute when it was taken by an unknown offender.
The motorcycle was last seen being ridden towards The Vines Golf Course.
WA Police’s swift response follows on from a crackdown on thieves taking advantage of online marketplace advertisements to steal off-road motorbikes.

Early this week Police warned that criminals were using fake social media profiles to track down addresses linked to private sellers of motorbikes, then stealing the vehicles and hooning across Perth’s surburbs.
WA Police commander Jodie Pearson said burglars were known to use photos from online advertisements on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace to track down motorcycles stored at properties around WA.
Investigators have already retrieved 55 stolen bikes and arrested 36 people over theft and burglaries between January 1 and June 21.
In late May a Honda motorcycle was stolen from a shed in Darlington, and on Monday last week a group of thugs attempted in a similar burglary in Yanchep.
Investigators are calling on the public for assistance as the inquiries continue – anyone who may have seen the bike or has CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area to come forward.
