There is traffic carnage on a major Perth highway following an early morning crash that has shut down part of a crucial arterial road.
Two vehicles are understood to have collided in the southbound lane of Roe Highway near Maida Vale Road in High Wycombe just before 6am on Tuesday.
Emergency crews are responding, with police and DFES on the scene.
Drivers have been warned of major delays as traffic is backed up for kilometres leading up to the crash site.
Injuries of the occupants involved in the crash is not yet known.
