Qatar is preparing to announce a new regional defence partnership aimed at strengthening its military capabilities, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, told the Global Security Forum in Doha.
